Margaret Mary Bien, 101, Kansas City, Missouri died peacefully February 2, 2017. Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 10:00 a.m. Monday, February 6, at Church of the Ascension, 9510 W. 127th Street, Overland Park, Kansas 66213. Entombment will follow in Mt. Moriah Cemetery, 10507 Holmes Road.
Margaret was born January 30, 1916 in St. Louis, Missouri, daughter of Peter and Anna (Burke) McQuillan. She was a graduate of Fontbonne College in St. Louis. She was an avid bridge player and golfer. Margaret was a member of the Ladies of Charity of Greater Kansas City and a volunteer at the Seton Center. She loved life and had many friends.
She was preceded in death by her husband William Kenneth Bien and infant grandson Cameron Bien. She is survived by her children Mary Michelle Sharp (Don), Mason Kenneth Bien (Susan), Melanie Ann Langford (Larry), Stefanie Diane Bien, Douglas Christopher Bien (Dede), Jan Annette Howard (Trey), twelve grandchildren and five great-grandchildren.
