Margaret A. “Peggy” Watson, 80, Olathe, KS, passed away July 15, 2014. A funeral mass will be held at 10:00 a.m. Thursday, July 24, at Prince of Peace Catholic Church, 16000 W. 143rd St., Olathe, KS 66062. Graveside services will be 10:00 a.m. Friday, July 25, at Calvary Cemetery, lot 10, Omaha, NE. Receptions will be held following both the mass and graveside service.
Mrs. Watson was born September 25, 1933 in Volin, SD, daughter of John S. and Margaret (O’Donnell) Hauger. She taught school for 45 years, retiring from St. Gerald’s Catholic School in Omaha. Mrs. Watson was a member of Prince of Peace Catholic Church in Olathe, KS.
She is survived by her husband George Watson of the home; son Kevin Watson and wife Virginia of Olathe, KS; daughter Joy Cook and husband Tracy of Columbia, MO; sisters Barbara Healy and husband Joseph of Irene, SD and Sharon Andersen and husband Larry of Freeman, SD; and grandchildren Hannah, Abbie, Carlos, Maria and Ena.
