Margie Wolf

Margie Wolf, 89, formerly of Indep., MO passed away on March 29, 2012 in Springfield, MO. Visitation on Monday, April 2nd at the McGilley & Sheil Chapel from 6-8pm with rosary at 7:30pm. Mass of Christian Burial 10:30am Tuesday at St. Mark’s Catholic Church (3736 Lee’s Summit Rd. Indep., MO) burial following in Brooking Cemetery.

Margie was born on February 19, 1923 in Savannah, GA to John & Bertha Chaplain. She retired from Hallmark Cards as an Order Filler. Margie was a member of St. Mark’s Catholic Church and the K of C Ladies Auxiliary # 3430. She also attended St. Elizabeth Ann Seton Catholic Church in Springfield, MO. She loved to dance and going to the boats.

Margie was preceded in death by her husband of 48 years, Joe; a son, John ‘Larry’ Wolf; grandson, Troy Richey; great-grandson, John Thomas Baldwin and a sister, Johnnie LaRue Eppes. She is survived by her children, Joseph Wolf III of Garland, TX, Paul T. Wolf (Mary Michele) of KCMO, Mark A. Wolf of Indep., MO, Mary Frances Shaw (Leon) of Republic, MO & Marcella Ford of Ocala, FL; 9 grandchildren, 3 great-grandchildren and a sister, Barbara Jean St. Martin (Ted) of Jacksonville, FL.
