Marguerite was born February 7, 1918 in Henley, MO. She was preceded in death by her husband, Harley Tompkins; daughters, Annabelle Johnson and Judy Hedrick; and a son, Johnny Tompkins. Survivors include her children, Tony (Martha) Tompkins, Kathy Booth, Darlene Green, Marlene Fries, Richard (Jane) Tompkins, Becky (Mark) Salley; 26 grandkids, 52 great grandkids and 26 great, great grandkids.
Following Harley’s death in 1959, Marguerite became an LPN and continued her nursing career for over 40 years. She always had a houseful of kids and grandkids; and they always knew that Grandma would have treats stashed away for them. Marguerite loved the Lord and even when she could no longer attend church services, she remained a shining example of living her life to serve the Lord. The family is so thankful that she is now safe in the arms of Jesus.
