A Celebration of Life Mass will be on Tuesday, October 20, at 10:15 am at Our Lady of Mercy Country Home, 2115 Maturana Drive, Liberty, MO.
In lieu of flowers, donations to Mercedarian Missionaries Retirement Fund are suggested.
Sr. Dolores was born in the Province of Jaen, Spain on February 6, 1926. She entered the Mercedarian Missionaries of Berriz in Spain on September 25, 1948. She had various assignments in Spain before being missioned to Kansas City. She received her Bachelor of Science Degree from St. Mary College in 1969. After which she was missioned to the island of Weno, Chuuk in the Western Caroline Islands in Micronesian. She taught in the elementary schools in our missions for 40 years until she returned to Liberty, MO.
She is preceded in death by her parents, three brother, Jesuit priests, brother, Ramon Mendoza, two sisters, Sr. Ana Mendoza, MMB and Amalia Mendoza.
She is survived by her niece, Ana Mendoza Berjano, and two nephews, Jesus Mendoza Berjano and Ramon Mendoza Berjano, all residing in Spain and her Mercedarian Sisters in Liberty, MO and throughout the world.
