Maria Isabel Negrete

In September of 2011, Mari met the love of her life, Ray Morales, where in this unity they gave birth to Emilio Morales.

Mari was very passionate and loved being a mother to Emilio. She loved spending time with family, having a good time with friends, and always making everyone feel welcome as she was happy in sharing a laugh. This beautiful outgoing soul loved to indulge in a variety of music where singing aloud would warm a heart and infectiously cause a smile.

Maria Negrete is survived by Ray Morales(partner), Emilio Morales(son), Angelica and Carlos Flores(parents), Keyla and Carlos Negrete(siblings), Lauren and Antonio Negrete(siblings), Carlos Flores Jr.(sibling), Lileth and Emalie Negrete(nieces), Alekai Negrete(nephew), and many more who are dear to her heart always. Maria Negrete was preceded in death by Marky Lopez(cousin), Antonio Negrete(father), Elvira and Jose Lopez(grandparents).

Visitation will be held 5-7 pm on Thurs, January 28 at McGilley Midtown Chapel, 20 W. Linwood Blvd, KCMO, and 9-9:30 am on Friday, January 29 at Our Lady of Perpetual Help-Redemptorist Church, 3333 Broadway, KCMO, with Mass following at 9:30. Interment in Forest Hill Cemetery. Pallbearers will be Antonio Negrete, Carlos Negrete, Raymond Morales, Carlos Flores, Alberto Zaragoza, Carlos Flores, Jr., Anthony Morales, and Nicholas Morales.
