Maria was born in Corinth, Greece on July 5, 1936. She was the daughter of Tassos and Sophia Giokas. She and her husband, Stelios Parthenopoulos worked at the Kansas City Club Hotel.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Tassos and Sophia Giokas, and her son, Paul Parthenopoulos.
Maria is survived by her husband, Stelios Parthenopoulos, her daughter, Stacy McCray and husband, Tim, numerous grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
Funeral Services will be at 11:00 am on Friday, July 25th, 2025 at the Annunciation Greek Orthodox Christian Church, 12001 Wornall Road, Kansas City, MO 64145 with a visitation one hour prior to the service. Burial will be in Mount Moriah Cemetery South.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions in Maria's name may be made to Annunciation Greek Orthodox Christian Church.
