Marialyce Greife was born May 2, 1932 to William Phillip Greife and Irene Josephine Greife. Marialyce attended Central High School and graduated in 1949.
In her younger days she enjoyed bowling and acting in school plays. She was an elementary school secretary at Red Bridge Elementary for many years.
After retiring she and her husband Ken enjoyed spending time at their cabin at the Lake of the Ozarks. They loved to visit casinos in Las Vegas, Mississippi, and Kansas City as well as the dog track. She loved raising her two dogs Buster and Annie. She was also very proud to follow her grandsons' baseball, football and hockey careers.
Marialyce was preceded in death by her husband of 57 years, Kenneth Lee Webster, parents William Phillip Griefe, Irene Josephine Greife and her sister Donna LaFayette.
Marialyce leaves her three sons, Phillip Warren Webster, and wife Dee; James Kenneth Webster and wife Tina; David Lee Webster and wife Colleen; and a daughter, Mary Anne Pestano. She also leaves behind 10 grandchildren and 16 great-grandchildren.
Marialyce will be greatly missed by all who knew her. God rest her soul.
A memorial service for Marialyce will be held Friday, August 5, 2022 from 12:00 p.m. to 2:00 p.m. at Mt. Moriah, Newcomer & Freeman Funeral Home, 10507 Holmes Road, Kansas City, Missouri 64131.
