Marian I. Powers, age 94, formerly of Independence, MO, passed away on October 1, 2016. Graveside to be held at 11AM on Tuesday, Oct. 4, at Floral Hills Memorial Gardens. Marian was preceded in death by her husband of 50 years Walter E. Powers. She is survived by her son Donald L. Powers (Jeanette), grandchildren Carey Reinsch (Frank) and Corbett Powers, and 5 great grandchildren. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the donor’s favorite charity.
