Marian, (mom #2) I loved you and will miss you so very, very much. I will miss our chats. You meant more to me  words can tell.

Mom will never know how much we appreciated all she was to us. She was always there for support and guidance. We learned a lot from her through the years. She taught us that family will always be there for you, and in the end we were all holding her hands. We know the Lord took her for a reason unknown to us. We are surely going to miss her every day. She was our shinning light in our darkest times, and we will look at the stars and see you now Mom. We love her now and forever. Our memories will keep her alive in our hearts until we see her again. We will miss that smile every time we came in the door. We will miss her saying, "I love you." every time she saw us. We are forever grateful for our Mother and so lucky to have had her for the short time that we did.

I will miss Marian, she was my inspiration, always so positive, was a great letter writer, I loved hearing from her, hope her family fully appreciated her loving support to each of them through their life difficulties, she was always there to support them financilly and spiritually no matter the problems they faced!!!!!!!!!!!

My love and prayers go out to Marian's children during this most difficult time.
Marian could smile through any situation, and knew her prayers would make everything right again.  I love and miss her.

I remember when I was a little girl of 4, meeting this beautiful and sweet lady named Marian. I immediately knew she was special. I climbed into her lap and we became family. She was and always will be my Grandma Marian. Grandma Marian always had open arms for me as I grew up and we were such kindred spirits. In 2004 my daughter, Diane, was born. My parents brought Grandma Marian to the hospital and loving arms held my baby, much in the way she held me all those years earlier. We have kept in touch over the years by mail. I still have many of the cards she sent me. I'll treasure them always. I'm praying for her family. Grandma Marian will be missed so very much! To her family: I'm very sorry for your loss. Just keep in mind what I'm keeping in mind. We will see our loved one again when we get to Heaven. To my dearest Grandma Marian, I hope you fell gently into the arms of God. I've asked Momma to give you a hug for me. Would you mind giving Momma a hug for me, too? I love you so much! Goodbye for now.

Our volunteers enjoyed delivering meals to Marian for many years from Northland Meals on Wheels.  We are so glad to have played a part of helping Marian remain living in the comfort of her own home by delivering hot, nutritious noon time meals.

Marian was my best friend. She was Jesus to so many people.  Her strong faith and love for the Lord was contagious and a strong example to those around her.  Marian had many struggles and disappointments in life, but never did her faith in God's will waiver.  She took those difficulties in stride, and praised God for walking with her.  She will be missed, but we will meet again in God's eternal home for us.
