Mom, I think of you daily, I miss our daily phone calls and laughs. I miss our planning lake trips, casino trips and what are we fixing for dinner? You were not only a mom but a best friend. I know the Lord has you in his lovng care and you are seeing and with Dad, Kathy and all the family who passed before you. You will continue to be in my heart and will continue to have an influence on my life. Until we meet again Mom, all my love. Sandy

I grew up with Marie and Family. We had many visits with my parents Lots of Sunday dinners and some Thanksgivings  Such a great Family  Marie and I had many talks  She reminded me of My Mother they were very close 
I will miss her so much

NAN: Our Nan was everything a grandma should be. We always knew she was there for us no matter what. We always knew we could count on her to be there for every ball game, play, performance or award ceremony we ever had. She was very proud of all her grandchildren and great grandchildren and all of our accomplishments. She was always interested in what we were doing and how we were. Whatever we did, whatever mistakes we made, she was there for us. She loved and cared about all of us. Each and every one of us was a blessing to her. She always made each of us feel special and important. She taught us the importance of love and family; faith and sacrifice; hard work and laughter. She was friendly and kindhearted. She helped everyone any way she could. She was a great cook and had worked as a lunch lady in the school cafeteria in her younger days. Her meals were always delicious and always a time for visiting with each other. Looking back, I am sure these were the moments she treasured, the little moments spending time together with the people she loved so much. We probably couldn’t count the times she rejoiced over us, cried over us, prayed for us, loving us with her whole heart. Nan was a very special woman, and we all love her very much. Our hearts are sad, and we miss her and yet we know she would want us to be happy, to love life, to be kind and to laugh. She would want us to be joyful and hopeful. Life is a gift. Love is a treasure. Her spirit is with us in our hearts and in our love. Let us strive to show others how special and important they are as she did with us. We love you Nan, always and forever. So many great memories. Some of which are going to Nan and Pa’s house and spending holidays there, eating 3 bowls of Nans famous chili (which she was very proud of), and just talking to her and hearing her stories. She cared deeply about her family and always attended important events. If there was family she didn’t see, she always asked how they were doing.  At 92 years old she was still driving, dancing and living life to the fullest with her family. I always admired her. She was my last living great grandmother and I am proud to have her name carried on through my middle name, Marie. Her spirit and family traditions will live on and she will always be in our hearts. Praying for us all to be comforted by the fact that although she left us on Earth, her spirit is still surrounded by love and her family and friends that preceded her in death. We love you Nan. <3

I didn't get to know Marie very well in the 4 years that my husband and I have lived in Stockton MO, but, when we did see her she was gracious and kind and welcoming.  Her daughter, Sandy and son-in-law Mike shared those qualities. I do remember Marie coming up to Stockton for a visit with Sandy and Mike during green bean picking time, there she was, always wanting to help, sitting in a recliner with a bowl full of beans breaking them so they could be canned. That was so funny that the bowl was almost as big as her lap.. Marie will be missed by anyone that she ever met. Her warmth and strength should be admired and remembered long after her passing.  I pray for her family to find comfort in her many wonderful memories.

I am so sorry to hear this, Marie was a funny, cool lady, she always had a smile on her face; sometimes mischievous.  I have known her most of my life.  My heart goes out to the family.  God speed.
