Marie Capra

Marie H. Capra, 92, of Kansas City, MO passed away on Apr. 12, 2013 at St. Joseph’s Hospital. Mass of Christian Burial will be 11:00 am Tuesday, April 16th at St. Thomas More Catholic Church, 11822 Holmes Rd., KCMO 64131. Visitation will be one hour prior to Mass at the church. Burial to follow in Mt. Olivet Cemetery. Memorial contributions may be made to St. Thomas More or Favorite charity.

Marie was born Dec. 25, 1920. Marie was a life-long resident of Kansas City, MO. She was a devoted sister, aunt and cousin. She loved family gatherings and good food. She worked for many years at Danny Dare.

She is preceded in death by her parents, Joseph and Angeline (Presta) Capra, brother George Capra and sister Grace Cartella. She is survived by her brother, Sal A. Capra, Sister Florence Capra, and sister-in-law, Ann Capra. She leaves her nieces and nephews, Margie (Ted) Keary, Mary Ann (Bruce) Cappo, Joe, Albert, Angela, Rose and Annie Capra; great nephews and nieces, Paul (Juli), Scott (Jami) Eric Charity) Leahy, Michael, David and Emily Cappo and 5 plus great-great nephews. She had many close cousins. Marie will be missed greatly by all.
