Marie Nadine Robertson

Marie Nadine Robertson, 89, passed away December 1, 2021 in Gainesville, Georgia. Marie was born August 7, 1932. The daughter of Lee Vade, and Ella Mae Shull. On January 12, 1952 Marie married Reginald W. Robertson in Kansas City, Missouri. They shared 61 years of marriage together. Marie worked for New York Life Insurance Company for 25 years. Marie was an active member of Fairview Christian Church in Kansas City, and after retiring, Hermitage Christian Church, in Hermitage, Mo., where she served as church secretary, and was an active member of CWF. She enjoyed traveling, reading, and researching the family's genealogy. She was also an avid shopper.

Marie was preceded in death by her husband, and two infant children, Bruce and Joyce Robertson. Marie is survived by two daughters, Linda Treece (AJ) and Nancy Baymiller (Butch); one sister Donna (Lucy) Furman; five grandchildren, Britt Treece, Alissa McCrary, Erin Canton, Jacob Baymiller, and Emily King, fourteen great grandchildren, and one great great grandchild. Visitation will be Tuesday December 7th at 1pm followed by a graveside service at 2 pm, at Newcomer's Floral Hills Funeral Home and Cemetery: 7000 Blue Ridge Blvd. Kansas City, Mo. 64133
