Marilynn Kay Ingels, 73, of Kansas City, MO passed away Friday, January 17, 2020. A Funeral Mass will be held at 10:30 am on Thursday, January 23, 2020 at St. Vincent de Paul Catholic Church, 3106 Flora Ave, Kansas City, MO 64109. Friends and loved ones may call the evening of Wednesday, January 22, 2020 from 5pm-8pm at the McGilley Antioch Chapel, 3325 NE Vivion Rd. Kansas City, MO 64119. Burial will follow services in Mt. Olivet Cemetery, Kansas City, MO.
Marilynn was born in Kansas City, MO on September 20, 1946 to parents Clyde Franklin and Virginia Olive (Heinzle) McConnell. She was a graduate of Randolph High School on Randolph Air Force Base in Universal City, TX. Marilynn started Ingels Accounting in 1978, which is currently in operation in Gladstone, MO, and worked there for over 30 years before she retired. She was a devout Catholic and parishioner of St. Vincent de Paul.
Marilynn is preceded in death by her parents; sister, Virginia Ann McConnell; and brother, Kevin McConnell. She leaves behind her sons, John (Jenny) Ingels; Andrew Ingels, and Daniel Ingels; brothers, Mac McConnell, Keith (Alanna) McConnell, and Michael (Theresa) McConnell; sisters, Kathleen McConnell, Jeanne (Paul) Tyson, and Cynthia (William) Schultz; sister-in-law, Mikaela McConnell; and grandchildren, Riley, Porter, Tucker, and Cooper Ingels.
