

Marjorie F. Scott, 92, Kansas City, MO, passed away March 30, 2012 at St. Joseph Medical Center. Memorial service will be held at 2:00 p.m. Monday, April 2, at Kingswood Manor, 10000 Wornall Rd., Kansas City, MO, 64114. Private burial. Memorial contributions may be made to the American Heart Association, 6800 W. 93rd St., Overland Park, KS, 66212, Alzheimer’s Association, Heart of America Chapter, 3846 W. 75th St., Prairie Village, KS 66208, or Kingswood Assistance Fund. Mrs. Scott was born May 28, 1919 in Maryville, MO, daughter of Jesse Leroy and Maude (Murray) Fisher. She attended school in Maryville, graduating from Maryville High School in 1936. She also attended Northwest Missouri State University graduating in 1940 with a degree in Elementary Education. Mrs. Scott taught in Merservy and Mark Twain Elementary schools in the Kansas City school system for a total of 19 years. With her husband, Paul F. Scott, she was co-owner of Scott’s Custom Picture Framing for 32 years. She was a member of the Country Club Christian Church, as well as P.E.O. Sisterhood, Chapter GN, and the Red Bridge Social Club. She was preceded in death by her parents, husband Paul F. Scott, and brother Carl L. Fisher. Mrs. Scott is survived by her nieces Patricia F. Davis and husband Rod, Marjorie Ann Hitchcock, and Linda Sue Kimble and husband Larry; nephew Jack L. Fisher and wife Nancy; great-nieces and great-nephews George Scott Paul, Randy Kimble and wife Katrina, Ann E. Paul and Kelly Kimble; and great-great-nephew Noah Kimble.
