Mark Allen Moore II

He was born on July, 22, 1970 in Blue Springs, Missouri to Mark and Jenness Moore.

Mark graduated from Shawnee Mission East High School and continued his education as well as playing baseball at Kansas University. Mark transferred to Oral Roberts for his senior year before being drafted to the major league team Oakland A's.

Mark enjoyed attending sporting events including Kansas City Royals, Kansas City Chiefs and KU. he also enjoyed playing golf with his father. He loved hanging out with his family and friends.

Mark was preceded in death by his father Mark Moore Sr., his grandmother Barbara Tapscott, grandfather Harold Zeigler and cousin Chad Lotspeich.

His survivors include mother Jenness Moore, Aunt Patty Stenerud (Jan), uncle Paul Moore (Carolyn), cousins Paul and Courtney Moore.

A Celebration of Life Service for Mark will be held Wednesday, November 20, 2024 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at Mt. Moriah, Newcomer & Freeman Funeral Home, 10507 Holmes Road, Kansas City, Missouri 64131.

We will be hosting a Celebration of Life gathering after the service at 12:45 pm, gathering will be at Bogey's Pub 13170 Stateline Road, Leawood, Kansas 66209.
