Marshall was born Jan 8th, 1933, in Wyandotte County, KS to parents Geronimo and Francisca Flores Mejia. He joined the Army in 1955 and served in the Korean War remaining state side at Fort Lewis, Washington. After the war he started working at Armour Meat Packing Company for over 30 years. After retirement he worked for Hospital Linen Supply as a maintenance man working on large laundry machines. Marshall also worked several nights a week for a cleaning company for several years and got the whole family involved. He taught the girls valuable lessons in sweeping, dusting & taking out the trash. He knew nothing about child labor laws and didn’t care. Marshall was always willing to help his family & friends.
