Martha Brown, 92 of Leawood, Kansas, passed away Friday, March 11, 2011 at the Kingswood Care Center in Kansas City, Missouri. Memorial Services will be Wednesday, March 16, at 3:00 PM, with visitation from 2:00 to 3:00 PM, at Mt. Moriah & Freeman Funeral Home, 10507 Holmes Rd. Martha was born on March 23, 1918 in Kansas City, Missouri and was a lifelong area resident. She graduated from Central High School in Kansas City in 1935. She attended Jr. College and was a member of the Cho-Chin Sorority. Martha was a lifelong homemaker. She joins Harry, her husband of 73 years, who passed away on January 26, 2011. She is survived by her sister, Helen Scott Mathews; sons, Donald Jay Brown and Harry Scott Brown; granddaughter, Lisa Taylor; grandson, Austin Scott Brown; and great granddaughter, Adison Taylor.
