Martha A Rodkey

Martha Anne Rodkey, 57, Gladstone, Mo., passed away January 18, 2012, at North Kansas City Hospital. She was born on Jan. 20, 1954, in Kansas City. She is survived by husband, Antonio Silvas, father, Wallace (Claiborne) Eaton and friend, Jeannie Nye. She was preceded in death by her mother, Mary Long Eaton. Surviving aunts include Martha Long Golden of Topeka, Kan., and Elizabeth Eaton Hombs of Columbia, Mo. Surviving cousins are Mary Lee Golden Hix of Topeka; Jerry Golden of Eden Prairie, Minn.; Elyse Long Ashley of Asheville, NC; Deborah Long Kirkpatrick of Kansas City North; Arthur Scott Long of Broken Arrow, Okla.; and Laurie Creber England of Columbia. Memorial service will be 11 a.m. Saturday, Jan. 28, at Antioch Bible Baptist Church, 800 NE 72nd St., Gladstone, Mo., with a visitation from 10:30 to 11 a.m. Interment will follow at 3:30 p.m. at the Harrisburg Cemetery, Harrisburg, Mo. www.mcgilleyantiochchapel.com.
