I remember playing sandlot baseball and football with Martin and his brother Jamie. He was a great athlete with a wonderful personality. We used to hit home runs and mimic the Cincinnati Reds Johnny Bench and Tony Perez two big home run hitters. I used to look forward to our games. I remember Martin and Jamie's dad Jon would pick them up to go play soccer. They are a very good family and Martin did not know an enemy as he was friendly to all and had a magnetic personality.
