Marvin K. Dykeman

Marvin Kenneth Dykeman. 77 of Stillwell, Kansas passed away April 30, 2016. Memorial services will be held at The Church of the Resurrection on May 4, 2016 at 11:00 AM. Visitation will be at 10:30 AM in Wesley Chapel. Marvin was born in Hastings, Nebraska; he graduated from Charles City High School and Buena Vista University. He moved to Shenandoah Iowa to pursue a career in accounting. While in Shenandoah he met and married the love of his life Beverly Sweney. Marvin worked in the accounting field for 45 years retiring from the Council Bluffs Chamber of Commerce in 2005. In his golden years he and Beverly moved to Stilwell. He enjoyed travelling, volunteering with the Church of the Resurrection, and had a passion for reading.

Marvin was preceded in death by his parents, brother Stanley Dykeman, and brother-in-law Rickey Steckelberg. He is survived by his beloved wife Beverly, daughter Deborah (William) Noel, sister in law Patricia Steckelberg, nephew Brian Steckelberg, and great niece Olivia Steckelberg, and cousins.
