Patti was born on September 8, 1946 to Paul and Catherine Pellegrino Stewart. Patti lived a life marked by faith, resilience, kindness and love for her family. Patti found her greatest happiness in her children and grandchildren. She especially enjoyed talking about them and sharing stories about them to anyone who would listen.
Patti suffered a stroke four years ago that resulted in right-sided paralysis. She faced her condition with courage and determination working hard throughout her rehabilitation. She adjusted to nursing home life forming dear friendships and participating in the social aspects and gatherings. She particularly enjoyed Chiefs and Royals tailgates, music jams featuring songs from the 1950s and 60s, Neil Diamond and patriotic songs. She looked forward to leading the Rosary on Tuesdays, visits from high school friends, cousins and siblings. She found so much joy in the other residents and staff who cared for her.
Patti was preceded in death by her parents, and her brother Michael Stewart. She is survived by her children Rob Fenton (Shelly) and JoAnn Fenton; three grandchildren Oliver, Finn and Teddy; her sisters Paula LaFond (Wally), Linda Fontana (Tony), Marcia Walsh (Tom); and her brother David Stewart (Brenda); and numerous nephews and nieces.
