Mary Frances (Plumer) Fields, Overland Park, Kansas, passed away on May 6, 2012. She was born to Harold and Clara (Gardner) Plumer on October 7, 1933 in Syracuse, Nebraska. Mary is survived by her husband of 56 years, William J. Fields, Jr. Other survivors include: son and daughter-in-law Kevin William and Mary Kay Fields, Randolph, New Jersey; daughter Julia Marie O’Neil, Overland Park, Kansas; daughter and son-in-law Rebecca Ann and Stephen Campbell, Leawood, Kansas; two sisters and two brothers. Additional survivors include five grandchildren Gregory and Sarah Fields, Pierce and Shea O’Neil, Alex Campbell and numerous nieces and nephews. Mary was preceded in death by her parents and one sister. Viewing of the body will be held on Friday, May 11, from 9:45 a.m. to 10:30 a.m. at Holy Cross Catholic Church, 8311 W. 93rd Street, Overland Park, with Mass beginning at 10:30 a.m. Entombment will follow at Mt. Moriah Cemetery South, 10507 Holmes Road, Kansas City, Missouri.
