Mary Clara Louise Geiss

Mary Clara Louise Geiss, 81, of Kyle, Texas, formerly of Independence, Missouri, passed away November 2, 2016. Visitation will be Monday, November 7, 2016, from 6:00pm - 8:00pm, at Floral Hills Funeral Home. Graveside service will be 10:00am, Tuesday, November 8, 2016, at Floral Hills Memorial Gardens, 7000 Blue Ridge Boulevard, Kansas City, MO (816)353-1218.

Louise was born October 8, 1935, in New Madrid, Missouri. She was a member of the Bud-Kyle Church of Christ in Buda, Texas.

Louise was retired and loved being with family and babysitting. Married in 1950 to Marion Medling deceased 1976 and married 1981 to George deceased 1993. She last worked at Comcast Cable Company in Independence Mo.

She moved to Clinton Utah and began babysitting and continued babysitting for several children up to her time of death.

She was preceded in death by: her parents Tilford and Maudie Butler, her first husband Marion Medling, her second husband George Geiss, and her son Richard Medling.

Survivors include her sons: Ronald (wife Barbara), Donald (wife Sue), David (wife Janell); daughters: Beverly , Sherri, Karina; daughter in law: Cindi; extended family: Mike, Becky, Judy and Jeff, grandchildren: Heather , Scott (wife Kim), Justin, Mathew , Jason , Crystal , Shawn , Dee; great grand children, Piper , Dylan, Sunshine, Jasmine , Lily, Cooper, and Mason.
