Mary L. Haney, 91, a long-time northeast Kansas City resident, passed away peacefully, Saturday, December 1, 2012. Visitation will be held from 10:00-11:00 a.m. followed by funeral service at 11:00 a.m. Wednesday, December 5, at Mt. Moriah & Freeman Funeral Home, 10507 Holmes Rd. Burial in Mt. Moriah Cemetery. Family requests no flowers. Mary was born February 15, 1921 in La Junta, CO. She was raised by Sam and Mabel Hopper. She worked at Stuart Hall for 30 years. She was preceded in death by her husband, Ernest Haney. Mary is survived by four children Betty L. Brogoto, Paul Haney, Bobbie Boydston and Ernestine Koetting, eight grandchildren and 12 great-grandchildren. Mary was a very kind-hearted, generous person that touched many lives.
