Carolyn was born July 15th, 1953 to Henrion Paul and Mary Kathryn Buser in Independence, Kansas. Carolyn grew up in a big, faith filled, loving family and was one of nine siblings.
She loved her family, friends, church and community. She was a big animal lover, in particular birds, and briefly owned a pet shop as a young adult in her hometown.
She moved to Kansas City where she met & married her husband, Ken. They adopted their two children and she dedicated many years raising them, as well as, working for her family’s company, Barton Nelson, Inc., in Martin City.
Carolyn is preceded in death by her husband (Ken), her parents (Bill & Katy), her brother (Bob), sister-in-law (Marta) and niece (Yona). She is survived by her daughter, Jenny, and son, Michael.
Her funeral service will be held at Church of the Nativity. Her final resting place will be at Mount Moriah Cemetery South.
