She and James raised two children Barbara Ann Miller {Jerry) and James David Lemberger {Debbie) with the help of her mother Grace.
She worked for the Circuit Court of Jackson County as a Judicial Administrative Assistant and then at the Court of Appeals where she retired after 31 years.
After retirement she kept busy as a Docent for the Kansas City Zoo where she enjoyed giving tours while introducing and interacting with the animal residents.
She also was a Master Gardener and volunteer at Powell Gardens where she had her own garden space in her name and a memorial bench named after her mother Grace Kuttler "Everybody's Grandma".
She enjoyed her grandchildren, Hailey Ann and Evan Cole and spoke often of her great-grandchild, Ava Grace. Over the years she also enjoyed many nieces and nephews.
She was the last surviving sibling following Juanita, Karl, Thelma, Kenneth, and Barbara Ann. She passed with the loving help of Village Hospice.
No services will be held per Mary's wishes.
