Mary Jean Lewis

Mary was born February 13, 1944 in Monroe, Iowa to Robert and Ruth Cox Lewis. She lived and worked in Des Moines, Iowa before moving to Kansas City, Missouri in March of 1987. She has worked in telecommunications for the Social Security Administration since 1980. Mary is survived by her sister, Ruth Ann Lewis-Speece, of Kansas City, MO; sister-in-law, Dorothy Lewis of Iowa City, IA; 2 nieces, Marnie Morrison of Fargo, N.D. and Misti Yamashita of Iowa City, IA, also, great nieces and nephews.

Visitation is from 5:00-7:00 p.m. Friday, March 9 at Mount Moriah Terrace Park Funeral Home. Graveside service is 1:00 p.m. Saturday, March 10 at Silent City Cemetery in Monroe, Iowa.
