Mary Mandl died on Wednesday, January 13, 2021 at Carmel Hills Living Center. Mass of Christian Burial will be at 9:30 a.m. on Tuesday, January 19 at Our Lady of Perpetual Help-Redemptorist Fathers Catholic Church. Visitation will be from 8:30 to 9:30 a.m. at the church. Burial will be in Mt. Olivet Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, donations are requested to Our Lady of Perpetual Help Church
Mary was born in Kansas City, Missouri on March 21, 1944 to Richard and Fern (Shuey) Mandl. She was the youngest of nine children. She was a graduate of Redemptorist High School and a lifelong parishioner of Our Lady of Perpetual Help Church. Mary worked for Southwestern Bell and retired after 30 years. She was a member of Telephone Pioneers of America. Mary was on several bowling leagues and was quite good. She loved her KC Royals and was a season ticket holder for many years.
Mary was preceded in death by her father and mother; brothers, Richard (Bud) and Bernie Mandl; sisters, Gertrude, Helen, Alberta and Margaret. She is survived by her sister, Barbara Spencer (Jack) of Sun City Center, FL; and her brother, Louis Mandl (Pat) of Blue Springs; her cousins and many nieces and nephews. A special thanks to her nieces, Catherine and Karen, for the love and support they gave her in final days.
