Mary Jacqueline "Jackie" McCord, 86 passed away on October 20, 2017 and reunited with her husband, John in Heaven. Jackie was born Nov. 11, 1930 in Springfield, IL to Edward and Marie Marx. She was an incredible Wife, Mother, Sister, Grand/Great Grandmother and Friend to many. She is survived by her sister Gerry Young. Jackie's surviving children are daughters, Mitzi McCord, Joni Siercks (Dwayne), Tami Shipley and son, Thomas McCord (Janette). She was crazy about her grandchildren (Mandi Robertson, Jennifer Wright, Rory Siercks, Kyle Wills, Nick Shipley, John and Tyler McCord) her great grandchildren (Andrew Robertson, Camryn and Callie Wills, and Caleb Milliron) and great-great grandson (Kade Robertson).
Jackie was a great cook, loved music, dancing, singing, coloring, feeding the birds and squirrels, spoiling everyone who entered her home (including with her dog), working outside, growing flowers and over decorating her yard with "yard art". Jackie wanted no services in her honor, so to honor her please buy yourself some fresh flowers and breath deep! Light a beautifully scented candle. Eat a wonderful meal. Drink a beer. Feed wildlife or give your pet some extra loving and a treat. These were things she loved. She is extremely missed and always will be. Forever in our hearts!
