Mary Sue McGonigle, 78, of Independence, MO passed away March 5, 2016 at home surrounded by her loving family. Visitation will be 5-8pm Wednesday, March 9, 2016 at the McGilley & Sheil Chapel. Mass of Christian Burial will be held 10am Thursday, March 10th, at St. Ann’s Catholic Church, 10113 E. Lexington Ave, Independence, MO 64053. Interment in Mt. Olivet Cemetery.
She was the “Sue” of Jim and Sue’s Family Restaurant, after which she went on to work for the Social Security Administration for 22 years. She will continue watching over her seven children, Don (Martha), Michelle, Dennis (Darla), Jeff (Wanda), Greg (Teri), Denise (Jef), Barbara (John); her 11 grandchildren and 13 great grandchildren. She will be missed as a Mom, Grandma and Ma Sue.
