Nattie was born December 18, 1926 in Kansas City, MO. She was the middle child of her siblings and loved her siblings and their children like they were her own. Nattie was the family photographer and often entertained her family with photo slide shows at family gatherings. She retired in 1991 from Parklane Medical Center, where she was a billing clerk. After she retired her hobbies included doing crossword puzzles, reading and watching the KC Royals and Chiefs. Nattie lived with her oldest sister, Mercedes and cared for her until her death in 2011. Nattie then lived with her niece, Janice.
Survivors include her sister, Angela Barbosa, her nieces, Janice, Patricia, Yolanda and Linda, her nephews, Bob, Manuel and Henry, Jr. and many great nieces, nephews and great, great nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents, Jesse and Eufrasia Lara, her sisters, Mercedes Valadez, Connie Aguilar, Viola Lara, her brother Jesse Lara, Jr, her nephews Richard Valadez, Refugio Flores, Jr and her niece Josephine Bollwitt.
A visitation for Nattie will occur on Friday, September 30, 2022 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at McGilley Antioch Chapel, 3325 NE Vivion Rd. Kansas City Mo, 64119. A memorial service will be from 11:15 AM to 12:00 PM. Followed by a committal service from 12:45 PM to 1:00 PM at Mt. Olivet Cemetery, 7601 Blue Ridge Boulevard, Kansas City, MO 64138. The family request that everyone wear either Royals or Chief attire to celebrate Nattie.
