She was a homemaker and school cafeteria manager. Throughout the years, Mary Ann enjoyed having cookouts and swimming with her family. She also enjoyed ceramics, bowling, going to the casinos and KC Chief’s games.
Mary Ann is preceded in death by her husband, Howard, sons David (Connie), and Glen (Donna).
She is survived by her son, Mark (Cheryl), and daughter, Sherry (John Porier), grandchildren Craig Mahaffy, Melony Friend, Laura Neir (Roger), Amy Nichols, Doug Nichols, Glen Nichols Jr, Christy Nichols (Matthew Beard), Kristi Willey (Jeff), Andy Nichols (Rian) and Matt Nichols, 15 great-grandchildren and 1 great-great grandchild.
Family and friends are invited to attend a Visitation at Mt Moriah, Newcomer & Freeman Funeral Home, 10507 Holmes Road, Kansas City, MO 64131 on Friday, December 19th at 1:00. Interment to follow at Mt. Moriah.
