Megan Ann Johanson, 16, of Overland Park, KS passed away at her home on Sunday, November 11, 2012. Visitation will be held from Noon to 1 p.m. followed by a Celebration of Life Service at Mt. Moriah and Freeman Funeral Home at 1 p.m. on Wednesday, November 14, 2012 with burial in Mt. Moriah Cemetery. Megan was born on February 7, 1996 in N. Kansas City, MO. She is the daughter of Todd and Julie (Hohimer) Johanson. She is a special young lady who surprised and baffled the medical community with her unique condition. She loved the outdoors, smiles, caresses, and loved being loved. She attended Valley View Elementary, Leawood Middle School and Blue Valley Southwest. Megan had a strong will to live and impacted others with her spirit. She is survived by her parents; Todd Johanson of Lenexa, KS, and Julie Johanson of Overland Park, KS, sister, Mandy Johanson of the home, paternal grandparents, Neil and Barbara Johanson of Olathe, KS, maternal grandparents, Bill and Linda Hohimer of Riverside, MO, uncles, Patrick Hohimer (Lori) and Brian Johanson, Aunt, Jane Courter (Devin) and their children.
