She was a graduate of Providence Christian School, Blue Springs MO. Melanie had an infectious smile that would light up a room. She loved her children more than anything Danielle, Alex, Brandon and Skylar and her beloved granddaughter Samantha. Melanie was a rare and gentle soul she loved her animals, loved music, movies, dancing, especially with daughter Skylar, and spending time at the lake. She worked for the family car business and for Goodwill, where she met many good friends.
She is survived by her Mother: Dana Lerenberg of Independence MO. Father: Douglas Crawford (Wife: Patty) Crawford of Grain Valley, MO. Four Children: Danielle Crawford of Independence MO., Alex Cummings of Florida, Brandon Visnich and Skylar Visnich both of Independence, MO. Granddaughter: Samantha Perez Crawford of Independence, MO. Two Sisters: Lindsey Crawford and Morgan Trotter. Paternal Grandmother: Joann Crawford of Grain Valley, MO.
She is preceded in death by Maternal Grandparents: Louise and Sanford Lerenberg, paternal grandfather Mitch Crawford, Uncle: Steve Lerenberg, and many Aunts, Uncles, Cousins and friends.
