Michael Dale Kelley, 62, of Kansas City, Kansas, passed away July 25, 2012, surrounded by his children and grandchildren. Visitation will be held from 8:00-9:00 a.m. followed by funeral service at 9:00 a.m. Monday, July 30, at Mt. Moriah & Freeman Funeral Home, 10507 Holmes Road. Burial in Mt. Moriah Cemetery. Michael was born August 23, 1949 in St. Joseph, Missouri. He worked in the construction industry. Michael was preceded in death by his parents John Howard and Mary Elizabeth (Thuman) Kelley and granddaughter Raeleigh. He is survived by his wife Cheryl; children Michelle Smith, Jennifer and husband Chris Wheeler, John Kelley, Sarah and husband James Hake; grandchildren Kaitlynn, Courtney, Cody, Kelsey, Jacob and Leighanna; sister Susie and husband Terry Payne; sister Jeannie Kelley; niece Amy Payne and husband Nick Irvin and their daughter Maci; nephew Matthew and wife Michelle Payne and their children Brayden and Lydia; extended family and friends.
