He was born on July 30, 1960 in Kansas City, Missouri. Michael was preceded in death by his parents, Robert and Harriett O'Dwyer. He is survived by his wife, Bonnie O'Dwyer, brother in law, Ray Clarkson, sister in law, Brenda Clarkson, sister in law, Donna Veach and numerous nephews. Michael was a devoted and loving husband. He was a wonderful man with a big heart who loved his friends and family, almost as much as he loved KU Basketball.
Funeral Services will be 1:00 p.m. Wednesday, June 16, 2021 at Mt. Moriah, Newcomer & Freeman Funeral Home, 10507 Holmes Road., Kansas City, Missouri with a visitation one hour prior to the service. Private burial Mount Moriah Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers donations may be made to the American Cancer Society or the American Heart Association.
