Mr. Purnell was an amazing man.  I am tearful writing this thinking of him calling me Burt all the time, lol.  He LOVED his family and worked very hard for them.  He was always very warm and caring to others and I always new that I would get a  warm, comforting, loving hello and handshake followed by a hug every time I saw him.  God bless the Purnell family and please know that my heart and my prayers are with you.  I hope to be able to reconnect with y'all and see you soon.

Words cannot express the sorrow in our hearts with the loss of Uncle Mike.   "He was a wonderful Man"!
Uncle Mike created so many beautiful memories, a life that we can truly celebrate...even as we grieve.
May you find comfort in your cherished memories and the Love of family and friends who loved Uncle Mike; and who Love You.  Keeping you all in our thoughts and prayers. 

Mike was our oldest cousin on the Miller side. I have a lot of memories of their farm in Dubuque!  Mike use to work with my dad during the summer. He always seem to have fun wherever he was.  I am sorry Mike we never did the cousin reunion!  Be sure to look up my dad when you get to Heaven!!
