Michael D. Richardson, 73, Liberty, MO passed away September 21, 2016. A memorial service will be held at 1 p.m., Tuesday, September 27 at Mt. Moriah, Newcomer & Freeman Funeral Home, 10507 Holmes Rd., Kansas City, MO 64131. Burial in Mt. Moriah Cemetery.
Michael retired from Hallmark Cards after working there 35 years. He was active in raising Hereford cattle and Appaloosa horses. Michael volunteered for the Red Cross and the United Fund. He was a US Navy veteran, a member of the Veterans of Foreign Wars and a lifetime member of the Disabled American Veterans.
He was preceded in death by his mother, Sarah Richardson, and a brother, John P. Richardson. Michael is survived by his father, Joe Richardson.
