As an 11 year old I remember Mike playing tackle for Lillis and suffering along with him and the team when they lost to Rockhurst, then later when he was in theater at St. Benedict's and how magnificient he was in the role as the Pope, dressed all in white.

Later my son Tim encountered this good humble man when he was working at a nursing home. He was so impressed with Mike and was telling me about him. I said YES that's my MIKE RYAN
