Michael Lee White, 62, of Blue Springs, Missouri, passed away May 20, 2010 at his home. He was born to the late Chester and Betty White on November 1, 1947. Michael graduated from Southeast High School in 1966, and then attended University of Central Missouri in Warrensburg. He bravely served his country in the U.S. Army serving a tour in Vietnam. Michael also bravely fought a long battle with cancer. Michael loved his family, special friends, and his faithful dog, “Joe”. He enjoyed being at the lake, playing cards, shuffleboard, horseshoes, making his special chili, and just having a good time. He will be greatly missed. He is survived by one daughter Jennifer Metzler of Tehachapi, California, three grandchildren Joshua, Jordan and Tyler Metzler, nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles and friends. Memorial visitation will be held from 12:00-1:00 p.m. followed by service at 1:00 p.m. Saturday, June 5, at Mt. Moriah & Freeman Funeral Home, 10507 Holmes Road, Kansas City, Missouri.
