Miguel Antonio Alvarez-Burciaga, "Miguelon" age 30, of Kansas City, Missouri passed away on Sunday, December 31, 2023. Miguel has left us with a broken heart, but we find comfort that he is now in the presence of God and with his beloved Mother Rosy Burciaga, who he missed dearly.
Miguel was born in Denver, Colorado and is survived by his 2 beloved sons Corinthian and Christian, little brother Cesar, older sister Brenda, 2 nephews, 2 nieces and father Ino who lives in Mexico.
Miguel grew up a middle child in a loving family and had a very happy childhood. He was always up and running, very hyperactive, that never changed with time. Growing up, Miguel loved to play soccer and was very competitive. He had the biggest heart that anyone can have. He was always ready to give a hand to whoever he could. He would genuinely be happy for others victories. He loved his children dearly and missed them terribly every single day. He loved his nieces and nephews so much; he was always the fun uncle who helped them up on the roof or bought them excessive candy and junk food that mom not always allowed.
As one of his friends said, "Miguel is one of those persons who would light up a small village and brighten everyone's day with his smile." He was genuine in anything that he did. Unfortunately, he got involved in things that surpassed his will power, but that does not make him anything less amazing.
Life was difficult for Miguel at times, he lost his mother to ALS in 2021. That was the toughest loss he would ever encounter and was not able to recover from. He always had the desire to live in Mexico and pass some time with his dad in Zacatecas, MX. He was finally able to do that this past year. He had the best time meeting new people, playing ball and getting to know his dad now as an adult. He was able to get away and pass time with nature and simple living.
He had a desire to come back to Kansas City, work and save some money to go back to Mexico and have a little place of his own back in Mexico. Miguel lived life to the fullest. He would live every experience to the max. He will be missed greatly. He does leave us a life lesson. He had a special connection with his younger cousins. They were all always able to connect with him, he would always give them the best advice he possibly could and would cheer them on, on their accomplishments. He wanted nothing but the best for everyone around him. The best way we can honor him is to never forget him, stay united as a family and try to help others in need. RIP MIGUELON
