She was born on January 22nd, 1929, to Adolph and Johanna Anders in Kansas City, Missouri. Graduating from Westport High School in 1943.
Mildred worked as a Secretary at Grandview East Junior High School and was actively involved at Red Bridge United Methodist Church.
She was preceded in death by her mother, Johanna Anders; her father, Adolph Anders; her son, Kevin Kimsey; and her husband, Lloyd Kimsey.
She is survived by her son, Dennis Kimsey; daughter-in-law, Sheri Kimsey; and her grandchildren, Tyler Kimsey, Kelli Kimsey, and Daniel White (Kimsey).
Mildred was a devoted mother and grandmother. She was a gift to all of her neighbors whom she loved and cared for deeply. She was passionate about work in the Church through faithful attendance and serving the Lord in many ways.
The family would like to thank Marilyn Kuntz, Peggy Hughes, Rachel Degenhardt, the Brouhard Family, and Lisa Bittiker for their constant care as she grew older. Also, the entire Staff at Kingswood Senior Living for the care and compassion they showed our Mom in her final years. A special note of gratitude to the Nurses and Doctors at St. Joseph Medical Center-Cardiac Care Unit for their incredible loving and supportive care in her final hours.
Family and friends are invited to attend a Visitation and Funeral Service at Red Bridge United Methodist at 636 East 117th Street, Kansas City, Missouri 64131 on Friday, March 1st, 2024. Visitation with the family will begin at 1 PM and Funeral Service at 2 PM.
Interment to follow at Mount Moriah Cemetery, 10507 Holmes Rd. Kansas City, MO, 64131
