

Mildred Jeanne Marx, 93, of Kansas City, MO passed away peacefully Saturday evening, February 20, 2016, at her home surrounded by her loving family. Services will be held at McGilley State Line Chapel. Visitation will start at 10:00 a.m. on Saturday, February 27th, and Her Celebration of Life will be held at 11:00 a.m. with burial following in Mt. Olivet Cemetery, Kansas City, MO. Memorial contributions may be made to St. Thomas More Parish.
Mildred was born on March 30, 1922, in Davis County, Iowa to Roy and Alta (Montgomery) Fox. Millie worked for and retired from the Kansas City Police Department in Data Processing. Her passions in life were her family and friends. She was a faithful member of St. Thomas More Parish. She also belonged to HARC (Heart of America Horse Riding Club) where she enjoyed many wonderful get together with her friends. She will be greatly missed by all.
Millie is preceded in death by her parents and her husband, John Paul Marx, two sisters, Helen Creel and Betty Farage. She is survived by her son John Roy Marx his wife Nancy and their two sons Daniel and Andrew and wife Kelly Marx. Her daughter, Susie Marx Marks, and her children Chris Marks, his wife Kelly and Jennifer Weld, her husband Taylor; great grandchildren, Jessica Schloss, Blake Lynn, Harley and Quinton Weld, Tori and Trent Hanlin, Savanah and Austin Marx. One great-great grandson Ryder Schloss.
