A visitation will be held at First Presbyterian Church of Lee’s Summit at 1625 NW O’Brien Rd, Lee’s Summit, Mo., on June 7 at 2:00 P.M., with a Memorial Service immediately following at 3:00 P.M.
Dean was born on October 3, 1941, to Madora Belle Rogers and Ira Rogers. He married Louise Rogers on February 9, 1960 and lived in Kansas City.
He is survived by son Todd and his wife Judy, grandchildren, Quinton (Alyssa) and Laney, great-grandchild, Levi, and brother Larry.
Dean was preceded in death by his wife and son, Scott. He is one of 10 siblings and proceeded in death by brothers Wallace, Ira, Joseph, Don, Charles, Bobby, Warren and sister Corrine.
Dean served in the U.S. Army, The Big Red One and was stationed in Germany. He retired after 40 years of employment from Ford Kansas City Assembly Plant, as an inspector.
Dean (Papa) will be remembered for his generosity and prioritizing the needs of others. Thank you for the support and prayers we have received during this difficult time.
