Minnie Walden, 92, Raymore, Missouri, passed away October 5, 2011 at Kansas City Hospice House. Funeral services will be held at 2:00 p.m. Sunday, October 9, at Mt. Moriah & Freeman Funeral Home, 10507 Holmes Road. Burial in Mt. Moriah Cemetery. Visitation will be from 5:00-7:00 p.m. Saturday at the funeral home. Mrs. Walden was born May 22, 1919 in Gentry, Missouri, daughter of David Oliver and Sophrona Ethel (Jerauld) Thurman. She had worked as a unit clerk in the medical field. She was a longtime member of the Red Bridge Church of Christ. She was a loving, devoted mother, grandmother, and aunt whose number one priority was her family. She was preceded in death by her husband William Turner Walden, son Jerry Duane Walden, two brothers and three sisters. Mrs. Walden is survived by her children Pamela Bass and William Walden, both of Kansas City, Missouri, Sheila Johnson, Ft.
