Morris was born on August 27, 1934 in Carrollton, MO to Roy, Sr. and Clara Leona (Lane) Henderson. He was one of eight children. Morris married Dorothy Jean Cobb on February 11, 1956 and soon after he enlisted in the Army. He served as a Specialist Fourth Class from May 8, 1957-April 24, 1959.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Dorothy Jean (Cobb) Henderson; two sisters, Margaret Louise Henderson and Clara “Chris” Christeen Tullos; five brothers: Charles Allen Henderson, Kenneth Wayne Henderson, Harold Leon Henderson, Donald Eugene Henderson, and Roy Henderson Jr.; and parents, Clara Leona (Lane) Henderson and Roy Henderson, Sr.
Morris is survived by his daughter, Leslie Ojeda (Rick) of Polo, MO; son, Craig Henderson of Riverside, MO; grandchild, Brent (Ryann) Chandler of Greenwood, MO; and many nieces and nephews.
A Graveside Service will be held at 1:30 PM on Wednesday, November 11, 2020 at Floral Hills East Memorial Gardens, 25203 E US Hwy 50, Lee's Summit, MO 64086.
