Morris (Morey), 88, died the morning of November 22, 2012. Funeral service will be held at 10:00 a.m. Monday, November 26 at Mt. Moriah and Freeman Funeral Home, 10507 Holmes Road, Kansas City, Missouri, 64131. Morey lived a long happy life. His marriage to Bernadine lasted 56 years until her death in 2001 which left Morey, their daughter Debra Gail, and son Mark. Morey lived the last 11 years with Mark and Melissa and their children Jared, Bradley, Alyssa, and Seth. Morey will be remembered as a loyal and loving husband, hard working father and caring helpful grandfather. He grew up on the family farm in North Dakota and went on to graduate from the University of North Dakota. He was hired by International Harvester from which he retired in 1984. Throughout his career, he was able to travel to many destinations in both the United States and Canada. The family lived for sometime in Billings, Montana, Chicago, Illinois, and Omaha, Nebraska. Morey settled in Kansas City, where he remained since 1971. Travel was a joy to Morey and Bernadine. Even after the loss of his dear wife, he continued his adventures. Morey spent many a winter with brother Art and his family in Hawaii. Morey leaves behind two brothers, Kenneth and Leonard Storhaug, whom he dearly loved.
