

Nancy Lea O’Dell, 57, Gladstone, MO, passed away August 19, 2013 at Cherry Hill Nursing Home. Memorial services are 3:00 PM Saturday, August 24th at the McGilley Antioch Chapel where a visitation will begin at 1:00 PM. Graveside services are 1:00 PM Sunday, August 25th at Mt. Zion Cemetery near Green City, MO. In lieu of flowers contributions are suggested to Crossroads Hospice.
Nancy was born July 17, 1956 in Smithville, MO. She became a Board Registered Respiratory Therapist at Penn Valley College and Baptist Memorial Hospital. She retired from Liberty Hospital after 30 years of service where, in 1984, she was named Employee of the Year. She was also a restaurateur, operating Rawhide BBQ and Steak House, and Coyote Cantina in Smithville, MO. She was preceded in death by her parents, Homer Fulks in 1996 and Ramona Morris Fulks Bridegan in 2011; and her husband Michael Lee O’Dell in 1999.
Survivors include her son, Clayton O’Dell, and wife, Melisa, Gladstone, MO; sister, Paula Fulks, Arlington, TX; niece, Jessica LaBozzetta and husband, Michael, Ballwin, MO; nephew, James Vonder Haar, Arlington, TX; step-father, Donald Bridegan, Gladstone, MO; and 2 step-daughters, Tricia Christmas and Mandy Silverstein and families.
