

She was born on December 20, 1932 in Hagerstown, MD and grew up in Kansas City, MO on the Country Club Plaza. She was a graduate of Southwest High School and received her associates degree from Kansas City Community College.
She married William H “Bill” Willard, a US Marine veteran of World War II and Korea, in 1950. He proceeded her in death in 1964, whereupon she married her high school sweetheart, Edward L “Ned” Roll, who passed in 2005. She was proceeded in death by her parents, Kenneth K. King and Eva Livesay King. She is survived by her two children, Mark W. Roll of Boerne, TX and Jan A. Roll of Overland Park, KS. She is also survived by her three grandchildren Lauren, Katherine and Caroline, a step grandson Anatoly, as well as seven great grandchildren Jaeda, Kaileigh, Tony Jr, Elizabeth, Elijah, Zoia and Dasha. She is survived by her brother Kenneth R. King of Torrance, CA and his wife, Gwen, along with their children Carrie and Stewart and two great grand nieces, Natalie and Lily.
Nancy was a 26-year employee of the NCAA serving as an administrative assistant which she joined as the 30th employee in 1974. She was a member of St. Mark’s United Methodist Church
in Overland Park. Nancy was a very loving, caring and thoughtful Christian woman beloved by her many friends and family. She enjoyed music, reading, travel and cooking. She was an accomplished seamstress.
A memorial graveside service will be held at Mount Moriah Cemetery, 10507 Holmes Rd Kansas City, MO 64131 on September 21, 2026 at 3 PM.
